As part of our ongoing Head Girls Archive Project, we are keen to get in touch with as many Head and Deputy Head girls as possible before this year's 70 year anniversary of QM moving to Escrick Park. Our archives are currently being organised by a very kind volunteer OM and we are slowly piecing together a copy of the School magazine - and a photograph - for every year group, almost back to the foundation of the School in 1901. With the 70-year anniversary of our move to Escrick Park on the horizon, this summer is a wonderful time for some reminiscing on what makes QM so special, and so the Head Girls Archive Project was born.
Ultimately, the aim is to put together a collection of ‘interviews’ from our Head and Deputy Head girls across the ages, that would be on display come September. It would also be wonderful if you could help us to identify some of the ‘missing’ girls from your year group, or the adjacent year groups, and perhaps through social media networks and other ways we may be able to reach out to them even if they have lost touch with QM over the years.
